Cats sleep anywhere, any table, any chair,
top of piano, window-ledge, in the middle, on the edge,
open drawer, empty shoe, anybody's lap will do,
fitted in a cardboard box, in the cupboard with your frocks.
Anywhere! They don't care! Cat's sleep anywhere.

Cats are a lot like people
except for, maybe, perhaps,
their amazing propensity
for taking 'cat naps'.

They can fall asleep anytime
and anywhere at all,
upstairs or downstairs...
in the linen closet in the hall.

They like boxes, bags and drawers;
but clean laundry is the best,
when it's still warm from the dryer
it passes every kittys' test.
