Cheese Treats

4 tablespoons soft margarine
1 1/4 cups flour
1/4 cup warm water
5 tablespoons parmesan cheese

Preheat oven to 300 degrees
Combine water, cheese and margarine
Add flour and mix together
Roll to 1/4" thick
Cut out small shapes with cookie cutter
Bake for 20-25 minutes (until light golden brown) on an ungreased cookie sheet
Makes 1 1/2 dozen (or more, depending on size)

Mackeral Munchies

1/2 cup of mackeral from can, drained and mashed with a fork
1 beaten egg
1 cup bread crumbs
1 tablespoon vegetable oil
1 teaspoon brewers yeast (optional)

Preheat oven to 350 degrees
Put all ingredients into a medium size bowl
Mix well, using a fork
Form the mix into marble sized pieces (1/4 teaspoon)
Bake on greased cookie sheet (place 1" apart) 7-8 minutes (until crispy and golden)
Cool before serving and store remainder in an airtight contianer in refrigerator
Makes about 8 servings

Tuna Popsicles

6 ounce can of tuna in water
1 teaspoon finely crushed organic catnip

Drain the liquid from the tuna into a measuring cup
Lightly sprinkle catnip into each compartment of ice cube tray
Fill ice cube tray compartments 1/2 full of water
Fill the rest of each compartment with water drained from tuna
Place tray in freezer until cubes are solidly frozen
Serve one at a time in cat dish

Kitty Kisses

1 can of your cats favorite canned cat food
1 piping bag with small plain tip

Preheat oven to 300 degrees
Blend cat food in blender or food processor till the consistency of frosting
Put into pastry or piping bag and make 'kisses' greased cookie sheet
Bake in oven till sort of dry and done
(Time depends on size of kisses - If you make small ones it takes about 15 minutes)

Cat Attack Cookies

1 cup whole wheat flour
1/4 cup soy flour
1 teaspoon catnip
1 egg
1/3 cup pet milk
2 tablespoons wheat germ
1/3 cup powdered milk
1 tablespoon unsulfurated molasses
2 tablespoons butter, vegetable oil, or canola oil

Preheat oven to 350 degrees
Mix dry ingredients together
Add molasses, egg, oil and milk
Roll out flat onto greased cookie sheet and cut into small, bite-sized pieces
Bake for 20 minutes
Let cool and store in tightly sealed container

Tuna Treats

1/2 cup whole wheat flour
1/2 cup nonfat powdered milk
1/2 can tuna or 1/2 cup chopped chicken (cooked)
1 tablespoon vegetable oil or cod liver oil
1 egg beaten
1/4 cup water
Catnip (optional)

Preheat oven to 350 degrees and grease cookie sheets with cooking spray
In large bowl, mash the tuna (or chicken), add flour and milk and mix well
Add water and oil and mix well again
Beat egg in seperate dish until dish until egg gets a foamy texture, and add to mix
Mix well (the dough will be sticky)
Using your fingers shape dough into samll bite sized balls (about the size of a marble)
Put balls on greased cookie sheets and flatten balls with hand
Bake for 10 minutes
Remove treats from oven wait five minutes and turn treats over so other side will cook
Bake 10 more minutes or until golden brown in color
Cool before serving
Store in air tight container in fridge or cool dry place

Note:You can add the catnip to the recipe or sprinkle on top of treats

Kitty Cheese Scramble

3 eggs
3 tablespoons grated cheddar cheese
2 tablespoons (pet) milk or plain yogurt
2 tablespoons alfalfa sprouts
1 teaspoon brewers yeast
1/2 teaspoon iodized salt
1 tablespoon margarine

Mix all ingredients except margarine in a medium mixing bowl
Heat margarine in skillet until melted and add the egg mixture
Scramble on low heat until the eggs are cooked
Cool and serve
Makes 2 to 3 servings
Store unused portions in an airtight container and keep refrigerated

Quick & Easy Kitty Treat

1/3 cup cottage cheese
2 tablespoon bisquick baking mix
1 tablespoon chopped liver
1 tablespoon corn oil
1 dash iodized salt

Mix all ingredients thoroughly and serve
Makes 1 to 2 servings
Store unused portion in an airtight container and keep refrigerated

Tuna Patties

2 eggs
1 can tuna drained and flaked
4 slices bread cubed
1/2 teaspoon iodized salt
1 teaspoon brewers yeast
1 teaspoon bone meal
2 tablespoons margarine

Beat eggs lightly in bowl
Add tuna, bread cubes, salt, brewers yeast and bone meal
Mix thoroughly until moistened
Form into small patties
Melt margarine in skillet and fry patties until golden brown
When cool, crumble each patty and serve
Makes 3 to 5 servings
Store unused portions in an airtight container and keep refrigerated
Feed once or twice a week

Kitty Meat Loaf

1/2 pound ground beef
1/2 egg
3/4 ounce ground liver
1/3 cup water
8 teaspoons rolled oats

Preheat oven to 350 degrees
Mix all ingredients together
Place in loaf pan or baking dish
Bake in oven for approximately 30-40 minutes
Divide the loaf into individual servings
Cool and serve, refrigerate leftovers
